LiveU To Display Expanded IP-Video EcoSystem

LiveU is showcase its expanded IP-video EcoSystem at CABSAT 2025 (Sheikh Saeed Hall 1 – Stand No. S1-G22) for creating more value from video, underpinned by the company’s resilient, low-latency LRT™ (LiveU Reliable Transport) protocol.
The LiveU EcoSystem provides high-quality live video contribution, production, and distribution solutions to enable broadcasters, sports organisations, production companies and other video producers to share stories globally in dynamic and engaging ways, shortening production workflows and reducing costs.
Comprised of a powerful set of modular components, the LiveU EcoSystem can be configured and reconfigured across various workflows to answer every type of live production challenge. Taking centre stage will be LiveU's flagship portable and rackmount contribution encoders, including the multi-cam portable LU800, fixed LU810 and compact LU300S. Throughout the show, LiveU will demonstrate how remote production (REMI) workflows are made more efficient using its remote live production tools, seamlessly integrated with LiveU field units. These include: IP Pipe, Video Return, Tally Light and Audio Connect.
As part of LiveU's ongoing mission to make live broadcasting easy and efficient, the company will also highlight its On-Site Production solution, allowing broadcasters to deliver high-quality live feeds from the field directly to production trucks. This cost-effective live video solution enables wireless transmission from a LiveU field unit to a LiveU Mobile Receiver delivering high-quality video to OB trucks over bonded cellular. It unlocks new sports production opportunities, such as golf tournaments and rallies, with dynamic multi-angle coverage. LiveU’s LU-Link Cloud Service means users can connect to a wireless network in the field in just one click.
Key show highlights include:
• Lightweight Sports Cloud Production with the enhanced LiveU Studio – keeping broadcast operations agile and innovative
• Seamlessly integrating LiveU’s portable 5G bonded video encoders with LiveU Studio, the company’s cloud-native video production service, offers an affordable and quick route to get fully synchronized multi-cam sources into the cloud and out to digital and linear audiences. The new LiveU Studio user interface is built with operators live production priorities in mind, increasing speed and efficiency. Live storytelling is enriched with its robust toolset, featuring sports-centric capabilities, such as instant replay and ISO recording.
• LiveU story-centric workflows – simplifying and accelerating production workflows with other best-of-breed solutions
• LiveU Ingest, automatic recording and story metadata tagging solution, enables broadcasters and other video producers to speed up production processes, and cover more stories, eliminating costly manual processes. Part of the newsroom revolution, LiveU Ingest allows live content to be accessed from anywhere and is interoperable with other production tools, connecting live video from the field and growing files with NRCSs (newsroom computer systems), AI-enabled transcription, MAM (media asset management), and storage systems.
• LiveU Matrix, the company’s IP cloud platform – for cost-effective IP distribution
• LiveU Matrix allows users to manage an exponential number of live feeds and share them with global audiences, without the need for a costly satellite or fibre infrastructure. Both LiveU Matrix and LiveU Ingest were used by major broadcasters for live coverage of the 2024 US election.
• LiveU IQ (LIQ™) – delivering unseen levels of optimisation
• Delivering affordable, mission-critical live video delivery from any location at any time, LIQ is a revolutionary new technological breakthrough in IP-video transport that propels connection, resiliency and performance to previously unreachable heights. Harnessing a trio of powerful and innovative decision-making solutions – historical transmission data, AI and eSIMs – LIQ can switch modems on the fly from one carrier to another at any given time or location, based on highest performing networks delivering optimal transmission performance.
LiveU's situational awareness solutions for the public safety market will also be on display, featuring LiveU’s new LU-REQON1 field unit. The portable device, weighing less than 2lbs (955g), reliably and securely transmits real-time video from any IP-video source, such as an IP camera, sensor, drone or UGV, or to any desired destination.
Visit LiveU at Sheikh Saeed Hall 1- Stand No: S1-G22 (UK Pavilion) to experience hands-on demonstrations of these innovations and discover how the LiveU EcoSystem transforms production workflows.
