Ateme To Partner With Viaccess-Orca At IBC2025

News Image
Ateme will partner at IBC 2025 with Viaccess-Orca (VO), a leading provider of data-driven solutions for TV operators and service providers, to showcase an innovative and secure end-to-end streaming workflow that brings real-time, AI-powered dubbing and translations to life.

The demonstration, hosted at the VO booth (Hall 1.A51) and featuring live source streams from Orange Moldova, includes speech-to-speech and speech-to-text translation powered by Lingopal.ai.

The demo will showcase live translations in various languages, including English, French, Spanish, and Romanian showing how broadcasters and service providers can enhance accessibility and audience reach – without compromising quality or latency.

The IBC showcase integrates:
• Orange Moldova: TV service with live multilingual stream source
• Ateme: Encoding and packaging
• Viaccess-Orca: User experience, secure player, TV platform, and DRM protection
• Lingopal.ai: AI-powered speech-to-speech and speech-to-text translation

"This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to innovation and accessibility," said Robin Herin, Director of Standardisation at Ateme. "Combining our real-time encoding and packaging with VO’s secure playback and TV platform and Lingopal's AI translation creates a powerful showcase of what's possible today -and we're thrilled to demonstrate it with real streams from Orange Moldova."
