WorldCast Systems Releases Audemat MC6 v1.3

WorldCast Systems has released of Audemat MC6 v1.3, the latest software upgrade to its flagship test and measurement platform.
Building on the strong foundation of previous versions, this new release introduces two software modules designed to streamline lab workflows, support automated testing, and enhance equipment calibration.
Already recognised as one of the most comprehensive solutions on the market for FM and DAB+ signal analysis, the Audemat MC6 v1.3 now goes even further by adding:
The Audemat MC6 can now serve as a precise signal generator, allowing users to generate analog and AES audio as well as MPX signals. These reference signals are ideal for calibration, qualification, and alignment of broadcast equipment. By feeding devices under test with accurate test signals, engineers and technicians can fine-tune and verify performance with full confidence.
Tailored for lab and manufacturing environments, this new module adds tools like distortion analysis and oscilloscope functions for more advanced insight into signal behavior. The module also introduces remote control via Telnet, opening the door for automated test benches, factory acceptance testing, and other applications where speed and reproducibility are key.
With these new capabilities, the Audemat MC6 becomes an even more valuable asset for manufacturers and broadcasters, offering a way to:
Save time and money when conducting factory acceptance tests (FAT)
Reduce the need for multiple instruments and related calibration fees
"With version 1.3, we continue to push the Audemat MC6 beyond field testing into lab-grade signal analysis and automation," said Gregory Mercier, Director of Product Marketing at WorldCast Systems. "This release makes the MC6 not only a mobile tool for DAB+, FM and audio measurements, but also a key component in automated production testing, quality control processes and on-site commissioning."
The Audemat MC6 v1.3 upgrade is available now and included for all users with an active service contract, while new software modules can be purchased and applied via a simple license key. Broadcasters and industry professionals are also invited to discover this newest release firsthand at IBC, booth 8C61.
