LiveU Appoints New Team Members In Germany

LiveU is deepening its commitment to the German-speaking market with the appointment of two new experienced team members in Germany.
This expansion represents a significant step in LiveU's strategy to provide in-person consultations in local languages and deepen personal relations with key customers and partners in the region.
Building on its longstanding collaboration with trusted partners across the broader DACH market, LiveU is intensifying its focus on delivering exceptional service and technical support directly from within Germany. The two new hires bring valuable market knowledge and deep industry experience, ensuring that the local customers benefit from the breadth of LiveU's innovative IP-video EcoSystem, based on its resilient LRT™ (LiveU Reliable Transport) protocol and cloud solutions.
Thomas Fengel, based close to Mannheim, joins as Regional Sales Manager DACH & The Netherlands. Thomas brings 35 years of sales experience, including a decade at Philips Electronics, later NXP Semiconductors, specializing in broadcast reception (DVB-T, C & S Tuners). He has held positions ranging from Internal Sales and Area Sales Management to Regional Sales Director. Since 2019, Thomas has been working in the broadcast industry at AETA Audio Systems with a focus on contribution in news and sports.
Wolfgang Jauer, based in Hamburg, joins the Business Development team for the sports vertical, covering EMEA and APAC. With 20 years of experience in sports marketing, host broadcasting and TV production of sports events, Wolfgang began his career at Sportfive, where he developed the group's Asian operations and set up its TV production department, responsible for host broadcasting of international sports events. He later joined Infront Sports and its affiliate HBS as Director of BD for production and digital solutions. He joins LiveU following five years at QVEST Engage, an OTT experience specialist, where he headed international business development.
Serving all major public and private broadcasters, LiveU dominates the German market for IP-based live video solutions. Its award-winning transmission technology is also increasingly used outside the traditional news sector, with Bundesliga football clubs and police stations deploying LiveU technology for fail-safe live transmissions from the field.
