Blackbird To Curate And Moderate A Featured Panel
Blackbird is to curate and moderate a featured panel at UK House during SXSW London 2025.
The session, titled 'The Superpowered Creator in the World of AI', will take place on Wednesday, 4th June, from 2:40 PM to 3:10 PM at UK House, 7 Devonshire Square, London EC2M 4YH. The panel will be moderated by Ian McDonough, CEO of Blackbird and Co-Founder of elevate.io.
The panel will explore how AI is revolutionising video production and empowering creators to scale their storytelling. Topics will range from real-time collaborative editing and generative voice tools, to hyper-personalised media and AI-powered storytelling engines — all shaping the next era of creative workflows.
Featured speakers include Sumit Rai, Chief Product Officer, elevate.io, Christopher Kenna, CEO & Founder, Mediastream.ai and Stacie Chan, SVP of Business, Netmind.ai. Together, they bring cutting-edge insight from the frontlines of AI and video innovation, offering attendees a deep dive into the technologies and opportunities reshaping creative industries.
SXSW (South by Southwest), originating in Austin, Texas, is a world-renowned festival celebrating the intersection of technology, film, music, and innovation. Now, for the first time, SXSW arrives in the UK, running from 2nd to 7th June 2025 — marking a major moment for the country’s creative and tech sectors.
Hosted by the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), UK House will feature a curated programme to spotlight British innovation, talent, and entrepreneurship — amplifying the UK’s global leadership in the creative economy.
