3Particle Launches XyperReal Stage

3Particle has launched XyperReal Stage, Malaysia's premier virtual production research & innovation centre, designed to advance industry knowledge, provide hands-on training, and drive innovation in virtual production.

This cutting-edge facility integrates Brompton Technology's advanced LED video processing with PIXREAL's LED panels using Macroblock driver IC's, Mo-SYS camera tracking, and other industry-leading solutions, creating a state-of-the-art hub for film, television, live events, broadcast media, fixed installations, immersive experiences and location-based entertainment (LBE).

A Blue Partner in Brompton's Panel Manufacturer Partner Programme, PIXREAL has supplied 16 HIRO1.9Pro LED panels, delivering superior image quality and precise colour reproduction. Powered by Brompton R2+ receiver cards, these panels feature a 10,000:1 ultra-high contrast ratio, a 7680Hz refresh rate, and 16-bit grayscale processing, ensuring exceptional visual performance. Each panel is factory-calibrated with Brompton's Hydra advanced measurement system, which enables Dynamic Calibration and provides an extra boost to each LED through Brompton HDR, ensuring exceptional uniformity, intense colour saturation, and true-to-life colour accuracy.

XyperReal Stage is more than just a showroom - it is a fully equipped research and development hub, where professionals, educators, and business leaders can explore emerging technologies, optimise workflows, and integrate virtual production into their projects. The facility features an immersive demo and training area with a 30-person capacity, offering hands-on experience in In-Camera Visual Effects (ICVFX), extended reality (xR), and real-time CGI content creation.

Brompton's Tessera LED processing technology plays a crucial role in the facility's workflow, delivering a comprehensive Tessera feature set, including Ultra Low Latency, 14-way Colour Corrector, Dark Magic, Extended Bit Depth, Frame Remapping, and ShutterSync®, providing a precise, flexible, and reliable virtual production solution.
