Network Electronics announce ambitious IBC plans

At IBC 2004 Network Electronics will officially introduce numerous VikinX routers to the European market, along with new and upgraded control panels and router management software.
A compact single card housing will debut, and the flashlink and ConQuer lines will be enriched with many multi-standard and optical signal processing modules and distribution amplifiers.
Topping the list of new products to hit Europe is VikinX’s HD128M serial digital video router with features to satisfy the most discerning customers. The high definition, fully featured, serial digital video router provides multi-rate support from 19.4 – 1485Mbps and full expansion to 128 x 128. The unit features the lowest power consumption in its category and exceptionally low fan noise in a very compact 9RU frame. It incorporates every amenity to accommodate the strictest demands, yet offers great value at a price point considerably lower than competitive products.
All active components of the HD128M are hot-swappable and the router is advantageous in its ability to be completely front loaded. Sophisticated control features include TCP/IP control interface and TCP/IP interconnectivity with VikinX.128 control panels, SNMP agent, as well as a comprehensive surveillance of the router's vital parameters. Features include fully redundant control architecture for maximum flexibility.
