Visitors can see a live demonstration of C3’s Apcentia multi-application converged communications platform that runs in a powerful, high reliability I-Bus/Phoenix TR4 chassis. They can also learn how media companies such as GMTV and bid-up.tv are making use of this combination of C3 software and I-Bus/Phoenix hardware platform technology.
C3’s Apcentia is a scalable NT-based communications platform designed for network operators, service providers and large-scale enterprise and council usage.
GMTV use this technology to support telephone response on live issues and for tele-based services such as phone-ins and voting.
bid-up.tv is the first UK interactive on-line auction programme to give viewers the option of bidding real time vis either their phones or the bid-up.tv website, and today accepts around 90 per cent of all bids made through their Apcentia system. (CD)
