LOGIC Partners With Techex

News Image
LOGIC has entered into a strategic partnership with Techex, a pioneering leader in broadcast solutions and software.

This partnership primarily involves distributing and implementing Techex's products, tx darwin and tx edge, in the DACH region. With Techex's software solutions, users can make their workflows in cloud-based or hybrid broadcast and media infrastructures more secure and reliable. The tools from Techex leverage a microservices-based platform for processing, transporting, and monitoring live media, meeting essential requirements in critical contribution, mezzanine, and distribution workflows. Furthermore, Techex's gateway solutions provide security and monitoring for transmitting signals in critical broadcast environments and support an extensive range of protocols, including SRT and 2022-7.

"With Techex software, we offer our customers a meaningful addition to our product range. This enables us to better assist broadcasters and media houses in making their contribution, transport, and distribution workflows more secure and simplifying their monitoring," said Sebastian Manemann, Head of Technology at LOGIC.

Particularly in combination with cloud-based workflows on AWS, which LOGIC has implemented in numerous projects, the tools from Techex open up further possibilities for controlling and monitoring the systems.

Jens Gnad, Managing Director of LOGIC, added: "Techex has been active in the broadcast industry for over 50 years and has a deep understanding of the needs of broadcasters. Their tools for cloud and video-over-IP broadcast infrastructures fit perfectly into our portfolio. Infrastructure projects that we implement with AWS, where the Techex tools are a perfect complement, are a focus of this cooperation."

Richard Bailey, Techex’s Chief Product and Technology Officer said: "We look for the highest standards of engineering, innovation and customer excellence from a partner to match our own. It’s a privilege to work with LOGIC and I look forward to working with the team to bring our products and services to the DACH region."
