Techex And Encompass Launch Cloud-Based Broadcast Service

Techex and Encompass Digital Media have announced a new cloud-based master control service aimed at improving the delivery of live sports and entertainment broadcasts.

The fully managed, cloud-native solution combines Encompass’s Altitude Media Cloud platform with Techex's tx darwin technology, alongside user interface and control systems from Densitron. The service will be showcased at NAB Show 2026.

Designed to meet growing demand for scalable and flexible broadcast operations, the system allows media organisations to deploy master control workflows in the cloud, managing everything from signal acquisition to processing, branding, advertising insertion and global distribution.

The platform enables workflows to be activated at the start of a live event and shut down once coverage ends, offering cost efficiencies and scalability for broadcasters and sports rights holders managing multiple events.

The collaboration builds on work undertaken by the two companies in 2025 to develop a scalable cloud architecture for high-profile broadcast operations.
