Techex Appoints Senior Director Of Sales And Business Development For The Americas
Techex, the UK-based provider of live video solutions over IP and cloud, has announced the appointment of Tim Jackson as Senior Director of Sales and Business Development for the Americas.
In the newly created role, Jackson will work closely with major media customers across the United States to support business growth and expand Techex’s footprint throughout the region.
Jackson brings more than 35 years of experience in the media and entertainment sector, having held senior positions at Discovery Communications, PanAmSat, Intelsat, and Globecast. His background includes leading broadcast and media technology sales teams, building strategic customer relationships, and driving revenue across complex and evolving markets.
Techex said the appointment comes as demand continues to rise for IP-based, cloud-first, and software-defined broadcast solutions, strengthening the company’s commercial leadership in the Americas.
In his role, Jackson will collaborate with customers, partners, and internal teams to help broadcasters, content owners, and service providers modernize their live video workflows while maintaining reliability, performance, and scalability.
The appointment is effective immediately.
