du Expands Skyline's DataMiner Platform
Skyline Communications has announced that du, one of the main telecom operators in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, has again expanded Skyline's DataMiner Platform for its new Al Qudra teleport as well as for the integrated monitoring of its brand new broadcast center providing DTH, IPTV, and OTT services.
DataMiner’s extended roles and responsibilities will place it at the heart of du's facilities, service delivery platforms, and operations.
"Ever since the inauguration of our teleport facility in 2017, DataMiner has been supporting our commitment to deliver world-class services and solutions to our customers," said Saleem AlBlooshi, CTO at du. "It's therefore not only obvious for us to award this extension of the Al Qudra teleport to DataMiner, but we were also keen to award DataMiner with extended responsibilities within our overall operation. We are investing considerable funds and resources into our company’s digital transformation, and the award-winning, AI-powered DataMiner platform is a truly enabling technology in this respect. It unlocks important incremental service availability, while driving considerable operational efficiency across our entire organization by empowering our team to engage via ChatOps, to create innovate no-code apps, to digitize our workflows, and so much more."
