Kremlin TV choose Drake Intercom

Drake Electronics has secured a contract with Kremlin TV to install a brand new PiCo system in the network’s Moscow studio.
Currently Drake users, Kremlin TV will replace their existing Drake Microcompact, installed in the early 1990's.
The order for a PiCo Matrix and a combination of 12 Refresh panels was placed in partnership with Russian Dealer Qualitron, who has a strong relationship with Kremlin TV.
Once installed, President Putin and other senior members of the Russian government will routinely use Drake intercom whenever they make public broadcasts. Given the importance of this particular studio, Kremlin TV is understandably concerned about the reliability and performance of their entire equipment suite.
Their selection of Drake expresses their confidence in the design and quality of their British-made products.
With 22kHz audio bandwidth and packing an incredible 36 ports into 1RU of rack space, PiCo features an integral LCD user interface with six user definable system maps. It's the highest density Digital intercom available and can be networked to other Drake matrices to create versatile communications infrastructures.
The customer also selected a number of Drake's intelligent User Panels, with high-contrast VFD with DTMF dial functionality. These panels can also support foreign character sets - ideal for the Russian market.
