PBDS install Drake intercom at CTV

Drake Electronics, the world’s leading broadcast intercom supplier, have recently supplied system integrator PBDS with a large system for CTV (Centre Television) in Moscow.
CTV, an existing terrestrial and satellite channel are relocating to a purpose-built installation incorporating the latest technology and including ingest and graphics areas, 11 non-linear edit suites and fully integrated newsroom facilities. The system has undergone full system integration by PBDS, a UK based system integrator.
Comprising of one of Drake’s 4000 Series II Master Matrix frames and over 100 user panels, CTV will be on-air by the end of January 2003.
Malcolm Robinson, Project Manager at PBDS said “Drake have an established track record of providing fully flexible intercom systems. CTV were looking for an easily expandable solution which enabled them to utilise a variety of incoming source formats and maintain an easily configurable system."
