INDIGO WIN BUSNESS AWARD

INDIGOVISION, the global leader in embedded networked video enabling technologies and one of the UK's leading technology IPOs in 2000, have picked up the Small Company Deal of the Year 2001 in the annual Scottish Deals and Dealmakers awards ceremony, which took place in Glasgow on September 4 2001.
This is the second year running that IndigoVision have won in this category.
Founded in 1994, IndigoVision floated on the London Stock Exchange in August 2000 and have signed a number of international licencing agreements over the past year for their flagship VideoBridge(tm) product with Panasonic, Baxall, Videology, Cirrus and CCTV specialists Ultrak and COE.
With offices already established in the UK and US, IndigoVision are planning to launch their Tokyo office at PC World Expo in Japan.
Sergio Tansini, COO of IndigoVision, said: "I'm delighted that IndigoVision has won this award. Recognition of the team's efforts is always a boost and I'm particularly proud that we came out on top despite some stiff competition.
"IndigoVision has grown from strength to strength since our flotation last year, which is evident by the number of licensing agreements we have signed with global players in the video and CCTV marketplaces.
"Our aim is for the IndigoVision name to become synonymous with high quality real time, networked video and for our product VideoBridge(tm) to be the de facto standard in its field. We are well on course for achieving this aim."
Now in its fourth year, the Deals and Dealmakers awards are sponsored by Bank of Scotland and Scottish Business Insider magazine and are designed to recognise and applaud expertise and significant contributions to financial deal making in Scotland.
