Canon extends advanced e-IFxs/HDxs technology

Since its introduction, e-IFxs/e-HDxs technology has gained widespread acceptance from camera operators as an innovative digital tool capable of complementing their most simple to advanced production needs.
In response to this reception and the interest of industry needs, Canon has now made the e-IFxs/e-HDxs technology available on its full line of portable HDTV and SDTV lenses.
Initially launched in 2003 with the J22ex7.6B lens, the e-series has been expanded to include all four of Canon’s portable HD lenses and all three portable SD lenses.
“We’re very proud to be implementing the e-IFxs/e-HDxs technology across our full line of portable HD and SD lenses,” said Gordon Tubbs, assistant director, broadcast and communications division at Canon. “Made with the environment in mind and with its enhanced Digital Drive functionality, this is Canon technology that makes a difference.”
