MPS Records Biggest Ever Visitor Attendance

The Media Production Show (MPS) recorded its biggest ever visitor attendance of 6,500 – up 25% on 2018.

The 2018 show was sold out on the exhibition floor and, after two days of packed floors and seminars, logged a record rebook of stand space for May 2020.

These successes bode extremely well for the evolution of the show, which moves next year to the more industry-friendly dates of 13-14 May, and will become The Media Production & Technology Show, reflecting additional content and the exciting ways in which technology is helping drive change in the media and creative industry.

Visitors had more choice than ever across the exceptional MPS free seminar programme, with a new Technology and Post Creative Hub, a Production and Lighting Theatre and a Broadcast Sports Zone added to the popular Audio, Broadcast TECH and Keynote Theatres. Over 300 experts and thought leaders from diverse organisations including the Royal College of Art, IMG, Avid, Kudos, Wisebuddah and Pinewood Studios shared their experiences and opinions over the two-day show, with standing room only at the majority of sessions.

The show also saw its highest rebook rate ever with exhibitors including Panasonic, Fujifilm, XTFX, Barclays, Sennheiser, HHB, Lawo, Jigsaw24, ITV Content Delivery, Digibox, Cooke Optics and Artem all signing up for 2020.

The organisers also welcomed on-site bookings from new exhibitors for 2020, including Lynx Technik, JPY, Archiware, Canford Audio, Interra Systems and Argosy Cable.
