IDX CW-7 Promotion – Low Cost Quality Wireless Link

Backed up by a two-year warranty, the quality of the IDX CW-7 wireless system has never been in doubt, but it used to be at a premium price compared to some of the newer entries into the wireless market.

Now with a €620/£540 trade in promotion from participating IDX dealers and a revised lower retail price, price is no longer a barrier to owning one of the best performing wireless systems available.

It offers unlicensed operation at maximum permissible RF power across four selectable channels, increasing the likelihood of achieving a clean wireless link.

This performance is enhanced by the use of DFS technology on two of the channels.

This technology scans all the available channels that the CW-7 is allowed to use and picks the least constrained channel for the CW-7 to operate on in that particular location.

Multicast where one transmitter can broadcast to a number of receivers is supported on two of the channels and the increased link stability permits up to four systems to be used in the same locality.

The provision of integrated V-Mount for camera and battery connection makes integration easy and a 3/8 screw hole gives flexible mounting opportunities, especially for the Rx which can be mounted high on a lighting pole to give line of sight range of over 100 metres.
