Sky News Appoints New Political Correspondent

Sky News has appointed Lewis Goodall as its Political Correspondent.

He joins from Newsnight where he has spent three years reporting on and producing some of the major political stories of the day.

As well as covering politics Lewis has reported on the Paris terrorist attacks, Young UKIP and the housing crisis. He has also presented historical films for the BBC on The Easter Rising, Joseph Chamberlain and the legacy of the 1945 General Election. Lewis has also secured political interviews with some of the most influential politicians of our time including Roy Hattersley, Peter Mandelson, Margaret Beckett, Shirley Williams, Tessa Jowell and Denis Healey.
