RED Intros Limited Edition WEAPON With HELIUM 8K S35 Sensor

RED Digital Cinema has introduced the limited edition WEAPON with HELIUM 8K S35 sensor.

With best-in-class resolution and cinematic image quality, the WEAPON 8K S35 boasts massive resolution, large dynamic range, 35.4 megapixel stills from motion and over 4x more resolution than 4K UHD (3840x2160).

The WEAPON 8K S35 captures motion and stills in 8K 2.4:1 at up to 75 fps, or 8K Full Frame at 60 fps, with REDCODE RAW – courtesy of a 300 MB/s data rate. It is also capable of recording in 4K at up to 30 fps with Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR. By leveraging the modular and lightweight DSMC2 form factor, the BRAIN is fully compatible with DSMC lens mounts – as well as DSMC2 expanders, modules, handles, and other accessories.

These limited edition WEAPON 8K S35 cameras come with a two-year standard warranty that can be extended for an additional two years with RED ARMOR. It also features an upgrade path to the 8K VV sensor.

An expander module or the DSMC2 REDVOLT XL Module is required to power the BRAIN. Only one expander module can be used at a time.

The WEAPON 8K S35 is limited to one per customer.
