ATG Broadcast release Corporate Television System

The Streaming Systems division of ATG Broadcast have announced the release of a complete Corporate Television System (CTS), enabling individual companies and associations to originate, edit and broadcast their own television channels efficiently and affordably.
Using high quality digital camcorders, portable lighting, radio microphones and a sound mixer, high quality programmes and presentations can be produced ready for live streaming over an existing local area network and onward to the internet. The system also provides a basis on which traditional broadcasters can add online information channels such as streamed news to support their on-air services.
CTS gives presenters complete control of a communication, free from the interruptions inherent in video conferencing. When required, the system can be switched to allow live feedback and audience interaction. Staff training, as well as product and pricing information, can be delivered globally without need to pull participants away from their workplaces for time-consuming meetings. Video-on-demand broadcasts and commercials can be created and stored for viewing via LAN, WAN or internet.
CTS provides the ability to capture, encode and broadcast high quality live and pre-recorded video and audio, as well as synchronised slide presentations, over a corporate LAN or WAN. Information can be rapidly disseminated globally, regionally or even to a single targeted recipient, without need for heavy investment in new AV network infrastructures.
Brian Moriarty, Sales & Marketing Manager of ATG Broadcast Streaming Systems, said: "An increasing number of companies are contemplating television broadcasting via LAN and internet but, without a precise knowledge of the technology, they need a lot of courage to actually take the plunge. ATG Broadcast have helped some of the world's largest broadcasters implement online services to augment their terrestrial and satellite-based transmissions. This experience, combined with the falling cost of digital programme production and streaming equipment, enables us to fine-tune the CTS package to match every individual corporate requirement. The operational benefits over traditional videotape distribution are enormous, and so are the savings."
