BVE Expands 2016 Trade Show

News Image
BVE has announced it is to expand the 2016 trade show into the Pro AV and Live Entertainment Technology sectors, through the launch of London Entertainment Week.

London Entertainment Week is a week of co-located events and awards ceremonies, structured around BVE, and is aimed at celebrating the wider UK media and entertainment industry. It takes place from Monday 22 February to Friday 26 February 2016, with BVE taking place in London's ExCel from Tuesday 23 February until Thursday 25 February 2016.

Recognised as a major showcase for products, services and prestigious seminar programs, the show now also offers industry support for new developments in Pro AV and Live Entertainment Technology. The expansion follows the merging of technologies between live events and broadcast sectors, in addition to organic expansion into the market over the past few years.

Delivering additional visitors from the AV and Live Entertainment space, London Entertainment Week will feature additional co-located activity from partners including NAB, TPi, Streaming Media, Raindance, VFX Festival and the IABM.

London Entertainment Week will also celebrate talented individuals and companies in the live production sector through hosting and sponsoring the annual TPi Awards launch event on Monday 22 February at Battersea Evolution. With three days of dedicated seminar content for the AV sector, London Entertainment Week will also feature a host of branded forums including theatre-specific content assisted by ABTT and the Streaming Forum 2016 Conference and sponsors pavilion.

Furthering the expansion into the Pro AV sector, AV Magazine is the official media partner for the AV theatre, advertising and access to speakers, and the AV Users Group will host the first ever AV Users Forum members meeting at the event.

In addition to the series of co-located events across London, London Entertainment Week includes an 850sqm 'Pro AV and Live Entertainment Technology zone' on the show floor, providing space to cover all aspects of event production; kit for theatre and performing arts, concerts and touring, festivals, outdoor events, corporate events, conferences, houses of worship, educational establishments, leisure facilities and corporate installations. Acting as a natural bridge to the live event sector, will be an Outside Broadcast Zone.

London & Partners will also be promoting London Entertainment Week through involvement with the Mayor's office. As the official promotional company for the City, London & Partners will also promote London Entertainment Week and BVE, meaning additional coverage and exposure.

"We're really excited to be working alongside top industry organisations to expand the BVE trade show into the Pro AV and Live Entertainment Technology sector," said Daniel Sacchelli, Event Manager. "The development of the co-located events and activity throughout London Entertainment Week supported by new exhibitors and partners will position the show as an event for the entire creative and entertainment industry."
