Eagle Rock Entertainment And Fremantlemedia Enterprises Ink Home Entertainment Music DVD Distribution Deal At MIPCOM

Eagle Rock Entertainment and FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has announced the signing of an output deal by which FME will release all new music DVD titles from Eagle Vision (one of Eagle Rock's Home Entertainment labels) in Australia and New Zealand.
The deal was brokered at MIPCOM, Cannes, by COO of Eagle Rock, Geoff Kempin and Daryl O'Connor, Senior Vice President, FME Home Entertainment Australia and New Zealand, who was recently appointed to run the label. Simultaneous to the deal, FME has appointed Shock Entertainment to handle sales and distribution of the new music DVD content which FME has licensed from Eagle Rock.
The first major release out of the alliance is appropriately, 'Neil Diamond in Australia' which will be released next month ahead of Diamond's upcoming tour. Additionally, Jeff Beck's first ever music DVD, 'Live at Ronnie Scott's' will also be amongst the early titles released, featuring guest artists such as Eric Clapton and Joss Stone, timed to Beck's approaching Australian tour.

With the FME label in place in Australia and New Zealand, it is now able to work with various distribution partners for its own programming as well as licensed programming as exemplified in the Eagle Rock agreement.
