Twilight Director To Deliver Session At BVE 2015

Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke is to deliver a keynote session at BVE 2015 about her positive experiences of shooting her latest feature, the forthcoming Miss You Already, in the UK.

Hardwicke, who also directed Twilight, Thirteen and Red Riding Hood, will present 'Director's Cut: Finding inspiration in Britain' on Tuesday 24 February at 17.15.

Since filming Miss You Already in the UK last year, Hardwicke has been vocal in her admiration of London and the UK as an excellent place for film production. The session will examine the value that the UK offers as a production hub for a global film industry and how Miss You Already – with an international cast, a British writer and crew, and a universal story - reflects the growing multinational nature of British cinema. The discussion will also reveal insights into Hardwicke's experiences as a woman in a global industry, in her varied film career as a director, production designer, producer and writer.
