UK Post House Suite TV Purchases FilmLight Suite For 4K/HDR Work

News Image
Post-production house Suite TV has purchased a FilmLight Baselight TWO grading suite as a part of its huge 4K/HDR upgrade plan.

Baselight TWO is a powerful, multi-role system that combines the latest multi-GPU technology, capable of supporting HDR/EXR and 4K workflows, with powerful Linux-based software.

Suite TV chairman Julian Aston said the purchase was made based on feedback from clients and cinematographers.

Mr Aston said: "The colour precision tools in the new software and ergonomic design of the Blackboard 2 panel simply allows for a superior level of creativity."

Suite TV is a 16 year old post-production house that specialises in comedy.

One of the first projects to be graded on the BaseLight TWO at the post house was Sky One's comedy series 'In the Long Run', starring Idris Elba. The show was graded by Suite TV senior colourist Joe Stabb.
