Adobe announce winners of 2003 Design Achievement Awards

Adobe Systems have announced the winners of the third annual Adobe Design Achievement Awards, a programme that recognises the most talented and promising students of graphic design, illustration, digital film and computer art from leading design schools.
Using the latest Adobe products, nearly 1,000 college students from the United States,
Canada and the United Kingdom competed in seven categories ranging from print and photography, to digital media.
"Over 20 years ago Adobe launched the desktop publishing revolution with technology that enabled creative individuals to use the personal computer as a means of expression," said Melissa Dyrdahl, senior vice president of Corporate Marketing and Communications at Adobe. "With the Adobe Design Achievement Awards, our journey with the design community continues as we foster a new generation of designers, showcase remarkable student work, and kick start some promising young careers."
In a ceremony last night at the Art Institute of Chicago, students were recognised for achievements that assimilated the powerful convergence of technology with creative artistic expression.
