Mirasys Launches VMS Version 7.2

Mirasys has launched the Mirasys VMS (Video Management System) version 7.2.

In this new version Mirasys continues the path of easiness, improving the usage of alarms, video content analytics, and client-side support for 360-cameras.
For example, the new Spotter client application 360-camera de-warping (image straightening) support is for cameras with an ImmerVision lens, and OnCam Grandeye, Pelco or Samsung 360-camera models without on-board (edge) de-warping.
Mirasys 7.2 version's enhanced alarm feature now permits unlimited numbers of recipients or groups, and to set any recipients for each different alarm type individually. Also, it is easy to automatically include snapshot images of alarm-related camera footage.
Not only has VCA usage improved, but also configuration is easier. It is possible to use any analog or IP video camera for VCA, and for multiple streaming cameras any video stream. It is also possible to mix multiple VCA types (including the ANPR+ number plate recognition) on the same server, and assign freely to the cameras.
