Aaton-Digital Unleashes Cantar-X3 Digi Recorder At IBC2014
Aaton-Digital is to show the new 24 track Cantar-X3 digital recorder and Aaton-Digital 5" Oled monitor at IBC2014, stand 11.F31.
Also on show will be the new Aaton-Digital 5" Oled monitor, which can be used with the Cantar-X3 recorder as a video source monitor. It is the Aaton version of the new Transvideo StarliteHD monitor.
The Aaton Cantar-X3 has been designed by the same team that produced its predecessor. It combines ergonomics of the X2 and its microphone preamplifiers, which have been redesigned to improve filtering possibilities and reduce the noise level further. Other new functionalities include an optional Audinate's Dante IP networking, while additional features are accessed through a new interface with new display based menu control.
External devices can be simultaneously linked to the Cantar X3 through audio and computer connectors.
Company CEO Jacques Delacoux will be present on the stand along with Film and Digital Times editor Jon Fauer and representatives from Steadicam and Artemis with their respective rigs.
