Curious Software release Curious World Maps v4.0

Curious Software has released Version 4.0 of its industry-standard map creation software, Curious World Maps.
Following hard on the heels of v3.8, Curious gFx v1.0 is now a fully integrated optional addition to Curious World Maps. This gives Curious World Maps users access to a powerful paint, rotoscoping, image manipulation and animation tool, in order to create a truly complete mapping and image creation solution in a single integrated package.
Also, Curious World Maps v4.0 has significantly enhanced shape tools. This includes the addition of support for Bezier and B-Spline shapes along with a range of powerful shape manipulation tools, for example: improved control of shape outlines and handles; easier shape control along the animation timeline; and the ability to divide and join shapes, and edit the edge softness on a point-by-point basis.
Those users using their computer’s in-build video I/O player for video playback will notice improvements in performance; and those using a suitable QuickTime compatible video card and associated compressor for rendering should experience smoother playback of rendered animations.
Additionally, there is an improved range of rendering styles for text manipulation; and a variety of enhancements have been made to improve the control of movie and image layers and layer filters.
