Inscriber's RTX-HD now shipping
Inscriber announced today that RTX-HD, the High Definition version of its RTX custom application solution, is now shipping.
RTX-HD is a programming tool for custom broadcast applications in sports, elections and news. Designed specifically for the growing HD market, it provides broadcasters with direct control over framebuffer technology. This direct access allows programmer's to develop custom applications to broadcast graphics, rolls and crawls, animations, real-time data, video clip playback and multi-zone support.
RTX-HD provides support to the Astro GG-161 HD PCI framebuffer card. This 64-bit card allows for full screen animations, crawls, rolls, text and graphic effects.
"RTX has long been established as the custom application tool of choice for broadcasters worldwide", says Kaz Yoshida, President of Astro Systems. "Now that same level of success is available to HD broadcasters."
