Encoda strengthen Automation Solutions executive team

Encoda Systems, leading provider of multi-channel broadcast automation solutions to media companies worldwide, have announced the addition of Steven L'Heureux as president, Automation Solutions and the appointment of Robin Adams to chief technology officer, Automation Solutions.
"This vital combination of leaders, with their extensive technical prowess and industry vision, reinforces Encoda's recognition that automation is a critical element to our commitment to deliver end-to-end broadcast workflow solutions to our customers," said Don Doctor, Encoda Systems chief executive officer. "Steven's customer-centric business philosophy and Robin's technical leadership will be extremely complementary in enhancing Encoda's ability to address our customers' existing and future automation needs."
L'Heureux's 19+ years of management experience with technology companies providing innovative software-based solutions for media markets has positioned him to lead Encoda Automation to the next level. Prior to joining Encoda, L'Heureux was president of Odetics Broadcast, a global broadcast automation provider.
He also held senior sales & marketing positions at venture-funded start-ups Vibrint Technologies, Inc., a newsroom editing and automation solutions provider, and Minerva Networks, Inc., a provider of broadband video networking solutions targeting large media companies. At Eastman Kodak he held various North American and international sales management positions and was responsible for the successful introduction of numerous new digital system solutions targeting the motion picture, television and publishing industries.
L'Heureux said: "Encoda's unswerving commitment to the broadcast & cable industry as well as its financial strength were key factors in my decision to join the Automation team. Having corporate level commitment to the broadcast industry is essential today because our customers face enough uncertainty due to changing regulatory, technical and economic drivers in the business. They can do without the added worries of their key supplier's commitment to the industry and financial stability.
"I'm passionate about delivering world-class customer service and industry leading solutions that deliver a proven return on investment. I'm especially excited to be partnering with Robin Adams because of his outstanding track record of successfully delivering innovative and reliable broadcast automation solutions. Together, our focus will be to offer highly innovative and reliable media management and content delivery solutions that provide a solid return on investment for our customers."
