SGL Appoints Lee Sheppard As Director Of Product Management.

SGL, provider of content archive and storage management software for media and entertainment, has announced the appointment of Lee Sheppard as Director of Product Management.
Sheppard, who joined SGL at the beginning of February, will oversee the company’s global product strategy.
His career, which spans 25 years, includes founding and leading BSS (Broadcast Systems Software) Ltd., the company that created Broadcast Master.
Following the company’s acquisition he continued to lead the same product and team as part of a Fortune-500 company. He also spent 15 years as Senior Product Line Manager at Harris Corporation and Harris Broadcast, leading the strategic design, direction and delivery of the Broadcast Master product suite.
"I’m very excited to embark on this new stage of my career at SGL," he said.
"The role of the archive has changed dramatically over the last few years enabling content owners to transform their workflows. I’m looking forward to continuing to drive the SGL product roadmap forwards working with existing and new customers."
