TC Group Receives Five TEC Nominations

TC Group has received five nominations across its individual brands in the 29th Annual Technical Excellence & Creativity (TEC) Awards.
TC Group's Tannoy, Lab.gruppen, Lake, and TC Electronic brands have all been nominated for their product and software offerings from the past 12 months.
Lab.gruppen's IPD Series has been nominated in the category of Amplification Hardware/Studio & Sound Reinforcement.
The amplifier platform has two power configurations, both incorporating integrated DSP, networked monitoring and control via computer or iPad, a four-channel input matrix, fully configurable front panel controls with graphic display, analogue and AES3 inputs (with redundant failover).
VLS Series from Tannoy has been nominated in the Sound Reinforcement Loudspeaker Technology category. This passive column loudspeaker is the first Tannoy product to incorporate the innovative FAST (Focused Asyemtric Shaping Technology).
The Ditto Looper from TC Electronic was nominated in the Musical Instrument Amplification & Effects Technology category, while its TonePrint Editor was also nominated in the Audio Apps for Smartphone & Tablets category.
The Ditto Looper provides functions to record, undo/redo, stop and erase in a one-button format.
TonePrint Editor, meanwhile, allows users to create personal TonePrints that can be used with TonePrint-enabled pedals.
Lake Controller V6.1 was nominated in the Signal Processing Technology/Hardware category.

The TEC Awards was established in 1985 to honor outstanding achievement in professional audio production and product innovation. Winners will be determined by online subscribers to Mix, Pro Sound News and Pro Audio Review, as well as members of professional audio and sound production organisations. Voting will take place in December.
The winners of the 29th Annual TEC Awards will be announced at a ceremony to be held Friday evening, January 24, 2014 at the Anaheim Hilton as a special highlight of the NAMM Show.
