Filmbase announce scriptwriting evening classes
Filmbase is inviting applications for a beginners’ course on film scriptwriting.
The workshop, which commences on May 8, is run over eight Wednesday evenings between 7pm and 10pm. It is geared towards anyone currently writing or developing a script. Writers wishing to apply for short script awards or development funding for longer projects will find the course particularly useful.
The comprehensive workshop covers scriptwriting techniques, treatments, formatting, character and plot development, feedback and writing as a career. Participants must bring their own script or treatment to the course to work on during the eight weeks.
The workshop costs 205 euros (175 euros for the unwaged) and a deposit of 60 euros is required. All participants must be members of Filmbase.
