Steadicam is a complex technique and a great Operator is not created in five days. However, we guarantee you will leave this course with the basic technical skills and knowledge of the essential current working industry practices required to become a good Steadicam Operator.

Our intensive course timetable is designed around practical exercises to maximize time in the harness, with lectures and demonstrations imparting the vital information an aspiring operator needs. Using state of the art equipment, you will receive practical tuition in the techniques for flying all current models of camera and accessories.

The GBCTs 5-day Steadicam course is now considered one of the best available and participants will receive tuition of the highest standard from PETER ROBERTSON GBCT who is one of the best Steadicam Operators in the world. Peter will be assisted by GBCT member MAX RIJAVEC, a Steadicam Operator and Steadicam engineer. These well-respected tutors will occasionally be joined by other eminent operators ready to share their personal industry knowledge and skills, with those attending.

The course is specifically designed for experienced technicians moving towards working in the Steadicam arena. It is essential that applicants are physically fit and comfortable with carrying equipment for long periods of time.
