Wex Photo Video Offers Customers Workshop Sessions

News Image
Wex Photo Video has announced that from today, 13 May 2019, every customer who purchases from Wex Photo Video online or in-store will have the opportunity to receive a 30-minute introductory workshop with a Wex photography or video expert.

During this session, customers will be given a tailored, hands-on demonstration and overview of the features and functions of their new camera, including key settings, practical tips and advice on photographic or filmmaking techniques. Each tutorial will be tailored to the customer's specific experience, requirements and interests, helping them to get the most from their newly acquired equipment. Depending on the individual's particular needs, the workshop can take place at the point of purchase or by appointment at any Wex Photo Video store.

The company has also introduced a new service on www.wexphotovideo.com, enabling customers to find out the availability of products across all its stores, if not in stock online. Items can then be reserved via the customer's nearest store for collection at a suitable time.

Having scored overall second place in the Which? magazine annual UK retail consumer survey for customer buying experience and quality in November 2018, Wex Photo Video has introduced these new services to further improve the all-round support it provides, whether web-based, in-store or over the phone.

Paul Wareham, marketing director at Wex Photo Video, commented: "We are passionate about providing our customers with outstanding support, and have brought in these helpful new services following feedback from regular visitors to our stores and website. Whether our customers are purchasing the latest mirrorless system or drone, or entering the world of filmmaking for the first time, the Wex team will be ready to offer customers detailed advice and insights to help them take the next steps.

"Photography or videography novices, or those purchasing a new type of equipment, will also benefit from a comprehensive introduction to the settings on their camera. This in-depth knowledge will give them a better understanding of the controls and functionality, as well as increasing their confidence to go out and take their work to the next level of creativity.

"Our real-time location service will also ensure that visitors to our stores or website will have full visibility of our product stock, wherever it may be located in the Wex network."
