Panasonic Announces BVE 2013 Appearance

Panasonic has announced it will be appearing at the BVE show in ExCeL London, from 26 – 28 February.
Panasonic will be at Stand F48 to showcase a raft of products.
Becky Green, Panasonic's UK Marketing Executive, said: "BVE is an excellent opportunity for Panasonic to engage with distributors, manufacturers and resellers. Users can experience the latest Panasonic broadcast technology in a familiar configuration and ask our experts any questions."
The AG-HPX600 will be demonstrating its wireless capabilities, while the full production AW-RP120 Remote Camera Controller and AK-HC3800 Studio Camera System will be making their UK debut.
The AG-HPX600 is Panasonic’s latest P2HD camcorder with 10-bit, 4:2:2 AVC-Intra recording and the lowest weight of any 2/3 type shoulder-mount unit. Weighing less than 3Kg and using low power, the HPX600 incorporates a newly-developed 2/3 type MOS sensor to produce HD and SD images.
The HPX600 features wireless and wired connection ability with Wi-Fi, USB and Gigabit Ethernet. In addition, it can be customised to include features such as wireless metadata input, proxy recording and variable frame rates, as well as future options such as LiveU support, AVC-ULTRA1 and microP22 as they become available.
The December-released AK-HC3800 studio camera is equipped with a new high-precision 16 bit A/D image processing circuit and 2/3-type 2.2-megapixel 3CCD for high F12 sensitivity, low smear, and an S/N ratio of 60 dB (at 59.94 Hz). It can be used together with the AK-HCU200 Camera Control Unit and AK-HRP200 Compact Operation Panel to configure a cost-effective easy-to-use optical fibre transmission studio camera system.
Also on display will be the AW-RP120 Remote Camera Controller, equipped with IP connection for large-scale, simple and flexible control of up to 100 remote cameras. This is complemented by a new joystick control system that enables highly responsive pan and tilt operation. The AW-RP120 features a newly designed control panel with colour adjustment dials and a preset memory with a new batch recall function and tracing memory, allowing single-person operation.
In addition to the broadcast equipment, a number of recently-announced Panasonic industrial medical vision (IMV) cameras will be featured, including the GP-KH232E and GP-US932X micro cameras.
