Speakers Announced For BVE Skills Zone

Leading broadcast and production experts are to lead a series of informal, round-table discussions at this year's BVE Skills Zone.
The speakers will be bringing their expertise on a wide range of topics and encouraging visitors to share their career issues, business concerns and ideas.
Those looking for careers advice will find BECTU and The Crewing Co offering daily CV clinics, while Emily Man of Creative Skillset will lead a discussion on developing careers in the film industry.
Samantha Meah and Dermot Casey of EMS Technical Personnel will explore permanent and contract work placements in broadcasting.
Script writers will be given advice on how to make money from talent with Julian Friedmann of Blake Friedmann Literary Agency, while Henry Swindell of the BBC Writers’ Room will offer tips on writing successful scripts.
Sean Coleman of Red Kingdom will be discussing scriptwriting for cross-platform content.
Elliott Grove of Raindance will be present to give advice on submitting work to film festivals and digital entrepreneur Graeme Ankers will provide tips on pitching games and interactive entertainment.
Jamie Fulcher of GTC will be on-hand to help those starting out in cameras and Steven Sykes of Blue Skies will chair a session on 'making freelancing work'.
BVE 2013 will take place at at the London Excel from 26 – 28 February.
