Astro Systems release dual link HD colour corrector

Astro Systems have announced the release of its new HC-7034 Dual Link HD Color Corrector.
The HC-7038 allows LUT input, making it possible of controlling the presets in the video input and pre-adjustment. It is the next generation of HD colour correction for applications in digital post-production, digital cinema or digital shooting. The HC-7038 Dual Link HD Color Corrector will be available at the end of the summer, and will be demonstrated at INFOCOMM 2002 in the Las Vegas Sands Convention Hall.
The HC-7038 provides one channel of Dual-Link HD video input signal that can be configured to a single HD. As an output video it provides two channels of Dual-Link HD that can be configured as well as being supported as a single HD. In addition Analog RGBHV is provided as well and can be configured as YpbPr. In a three-phase colour-correction process, it can be done with 10-bit LUT under real-time 12-bit processing. In doing so the input LUT will remove preset colour adjustment and the Output LUT will allow for fine-tuning colour adjustment for individual output settings.
The features include colour formats as RGB 4:4:4 10Bit/YpbPr 4:2:2 10-bit. For video formats the following are supported 1920 x 1080 24sf/25sf/30p/60i, (1.000, 1/1.001 and 1280 x 720 60p/24p (1.000, 1/1.001). This unit allows for one channel Dual-Link HD as an input and two channels Dual-Link HD as an output and one channel Dual-Link HD as Analog RGBHV (YpbPr). In addition control software makes it possible to operated via a remote control (RS-232C). When operating as a standalone, a preset memory feature will allow you to utilise five sets of presets, which can be selected form the front panel buttons.
