Framestore Further Bolsters CG Department With Multiplatform Expertise

Framestore is further strengthening its CG department and integrated offering by hiring Liz Oliver; a CG line producer with extensive experience in multiplatform disciplines.
Oliver joins Framestore in May 2012 as a knowledgeable producer who, in addition to working in visual effects and TV commercials, also has experience in radio, print and digital. By working alongside Framestore’s other CG line producer, James Alexander (as announced in November 2011), Oliver’s print and digital expertise will be dovetailed into the CG team so as to enhance and support Framestore’s large scale productions across commercials, digital, design and film.
Oliver joins Framestore from her most recent position as a producer at Shoreditch’s boutique animation and retouch studio, Taylor James. Having spent the last five years working in both permanent and freelance production positions for diverse companies like Munky, Hooper Productions, Flaming CGI and DAD, Oliver has gained exposure to a wide variety of clients and media: everything from product launches, architectural visualisations, character animations, documentaries, dramas and print. Prior to this, Oliver started her career in 2001 as an agency producer.
Framestore’s MD of commercials, Helen Stanley, said: "Liz’s arrival is great news for us on two levels. Her immense CG knowledge will be used to further strengthen our ever-busy CG department, but her digital imaging and multiplatform experience will significantly contribute to Framestore’s ongoing evolution into a strategic partner for integrated advertising."
Framestore is an Oscar-winning visual effects company and the UK’s leading authority on stereoscopic 3D. Framestore uses innovative talent and technology to create hi-end images for every platform. In addition to working for Hollywood studios, advertisers, ad agencies, production and gaming companies, Framestore also generates its own paid-for content: eg – VFX in Your Pocket and Polar Peril.
