Aspen Media Unveil 4MinX Location Recorder At BVE

Visitors to Aspen Media’s stand D50 at BVE will see the 4MinX, the long awaited multitrack location recorder and mixer from Paris based AETA.
4MinX is a sturdy, portable digital recorder that records to removable SD/SDHC cards. It has an integral mixer section for use with mono, stereo or MS mics and is available as a standalone mixer or with 2, 4, 6 or 8-track recording. Time code and a SoundField surround sound monitoring module are options.
AETA’s Scoopy+, a versatile portable audio codec, will also be on show. Designed for OB applications, the Scoopy+ transmits and receives broadcast-quality audio via wired and wireless networks.
Another first on stand D50 is RTW’s new baby the TM3. TM3 is a 2 or 6 channel audio meter with a 4.3 inch touch screen. As well as PPM and true-peak meters the TM3 offers a range of loudness metering. Designed for the desktop it’s small enough to easily carry from studio to studio. It joins RTW’s popular TouchMonitor TM9 on display.
Aspen Media is the recently appointed UK distributor for DirectOut Technologies and will be bringing DirectOut’s full range of MADI products to Earls Court including the M.1k2, a 1024x1024 channel MADI router and ANDIAMO.XT SRC, an analogue, MADI and AES converter with sample rate converters.
Jünger’s T*AP 8 channel television audio processor and loudness manager and Delec’s Oratis intercom and commentary systems complete the line up on stand D50.
