WTS Group Opens C2S Nigeria

Global technology solutions provider WTS Group has announced plans to open a new office in Lagos, Nigeria, under the company’s systems integration brand, C2S.
C2S Nigeria will introduce WTS’s full range of technology services and solutions to the region: Equipment supply and hire, training, technical support and product advice as well as systems integration solutions and financing.
Plans follow completion of a major integration deal for the group to supply Nigerian broadcaster M-Net, the country’s leading Broadcaster and owner of well-loved national brand SuperSport. C2S Systems supplied a studio complex and two OB units to the broadcaster, built in their Leeds integration facility, the second of which was shipped at the end of October in a deal worth upwards of $20M USD.
Ian Cunliffe has been appointed as General Manager, Sales & Operations at the new office and has already begun work at the new site, employing 10 new staff to get business underway.
"C2S Nigeria is an incredibly exciting project, we are seeing a massive amount of growth in Nigeria and surrounding countries already. We saw an opportunity for WTS to provide a whole range of services here, so we’re making a significant investment in the region. Our strength is our expertise: There is not a single organisation in Nigeria offering the extent of services we intend to provide or which has the backing and support of a substantial European parent. Our experience, resources and contacts have been established over many years, we’re in a very good position with a great deal to offer the African market," Cunliffe commented.
WTS CEO and Managing Director Ofir Mor, said: "Ian Cunliffe brings 28 years of experience with him and has the enthusiasm and vision to drive the Nigerian business forward. Our Nigerian centre will be the most versatile and competitive Sony approved sales and service centre in the region, with experienced technical staff and high quality engineering services. This is really our point of difference and prospect in the area".
