Harris Announces New Appointments

Harris Broadcast Communications has announced two strategic additions to its key accounts sales and solutions architecture teams in its Nordic and Central Europe region.
Andreas Kotulek joins Harris' sales team having previously worked with Avid Technology Germany, and Alexander Clausnitzer joins its software solutions architecture team. Clausnitzer brings to Harris a very strong IT background, which will Harris says will be an asset to working on IT-based projects in the software space.
Andreas Kotulek joins with immediate effect and will manage direct customer and reseller sales channels in Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Having previously worked with Avid, where he was responsible for enterprise level key account sales in Germany and Eastern Europe, Kotulek brings a wealth of sales experience and solution-selling skills combined with an excellent understanding of the broadcast industry.
Alexander Clausnitzer joins Harris as a Solution Architect with a pedigree in software development in a number of different capacities. Previously, Clausnitzer has developed his own enterprise software and worked as director of product and business development at Step 2E, an airtime sales and programme planning company in Germany. Before that. Clausnitzer was employed as consultant and project manager for Munich-based Norcom AG, a company developing Newsroom and Asset Management systems.
Both executives will report directly to Stefan Weidner, Head of Harris Broadcast Communications' Nordic and Central Europe region. Mathias Eckert, Vice President Sales and Services, Europe and Africa at Harris Broadcast Communications, said: "We are delighted to announce the appointment of two very experienced broadcast industry executives who will strengthen our regional team considerably. These appointments are a good indication of Harris' drive and ambition to grow close links and relationships with our customer base in Europe."
