Image Systems Announces 50 Customers For New Precision Panel

Image Systems, formerly Digital Vision, has announced that it is shipping 50 Precision panels to customers around the world.
Precision is the company's next-generation integrated control surface for the Nucoda range of grading and mastering products.
Featuring five high resolution touchscreens Precision combines the latest technology with premium design, maximising creativity with efficient and innovative navigation and a highly stylised look and feel. With the addition of touchscreen operation alongside traditional controller elements, Precision offers features and functionality not available with any other generic or integrated grading panel.
Tony Osborne, Films@59 Colourist, said: "The new Precision panel is a terrific asset to our post production process. The panel has facilitated quicker access to the colour tools as well as finer control. The touch screen control significantly speeds the process of saving and recalling grades and the dedicated layer buttons make navigation up and down the layers much more efficient. Overall, the panel supports our creative choices with ease of operation and outstanding ergonomics."
Martin Bennett, Image Systems' MD Media BU, said: "The release of the new Precision grading panel is a milestone not just for us as a company, but for our loyal customer base. We really look forward to further developing this product as the addition of touch screen technology offers a world of new possibilities."
