Stage Precision to Showcase Grid Studio 2.1 and New Extensions at InfoComm 2026
Stage Precision will return to InfoComm this year, exhibiting its evolving SP Grid ecosystem, which is rapidly emerging as a go-to control and data management solution for live events, studio, and installed environments. Grid Studio, the central low-code development software behind the SP Grid platform, recently received a significant update with the launch of Grid Studio 2.1, and will be showcased alongside a series of new Grid Extensions at Booth N7025.
Delivering spatial intelligence and device-agnostic workflows, SP Grid provides a unified control and data management platform built to support the evolving demands of AV applications as the lines between broadcast, live events, experiential retail, museums, themed entertainment and virtual production continue to blur.
Recently launched at NAB, Grid Studio 2.1 will make its second appearance in Las Vegas at InfoComm, bringing a series of workflow-focused updates designed to make complex control environments more secure, resilient, and accessible.
With new password protection, users can now set a password directly with the Project tab, helping keep sensitive work protected while ensuring essential project information remains centralised in one place. Grid 2.1 also introduces always-on background monitoring to help projects recover more reliably if an issue occurs.
A new warning system gives users a smarter way to monitor their projects and catch potential issues before the can develop into problems. Operators can define custom warning conditions on any entity path, set the severity level and receive real-time alerts for immediate and reliable troubleshooting.
Grid Studio 2.1 also introduces new software themes to improve accessibility across a range of working conditions. Dark mode supports eye sensitivity to prevent fatigue during long studio days, light mode provides better visibility in bright conditions, and red/green modes improve usability for operators with colour vision accessibility needs.
Alongside this, Grid Studio 2.1 brings redesigned camera calibration, which streamlines setup with clearer visual feedback and real-time status updates to enhance studio workflows.
Also launching at InfoComm, Stage Precision will introduce a series of new Grid Extensions, designed to expand the capabilities of SP Grid and streamline workflows across diverse environments. Virtual production and broadcast applications increasingly require data from multiple specialised systems to be available in one place. With new Grid Extensions, Stage Precision brings third-party connections directly into the SP Grid platform, delivering greater control and improved flexibility for users tackling even the most technically demanding projects.
Joining the Grid Extension partner ecosystem, NMOS enables discovery and routing for SMPTE 2110 workflows, allowing operators to manage senders, receivers, flows, and routing within SP Grid. This removes the need for a separate NMOS console, simplifying IP-native installations, live event, XR, and virtual studio workflows.
A new Crestron DM NVX extension will also provide SP Grid users with the ability to control NVX encoders and decoders directly from the SP Grid platform. This gives system designers and operators a more efficient way to integrate video routing into wider automation and experience workflows.
Also new to the Grid Extension ecosystem is ISAAC by Smart Monkeys, which combines show control, scheduling, monitoring and alerts for complex permanent AV installations. Dante Domain Manager, Ross Talk, ADDERLink XDIP, and Panasonic PTZ Camera Control also join as Official Extensions, giving SP Grid users the freedom to connect a wider range of systems or devices to the Grid Platform for personalised and streamlined control.
InfoComm 2026 attendees are invited to Booth N7025, where they can experience SP Grid in action and connect with the Stage Precision team. Visitors will witness the capabilities of Grid Studio 2.1 during up-close demonstrations and can explore the ways new Grid Extensions can enhance their next project. InfoComm takes place June 17-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
