1410 and Altered Images upgrading to new Soho premises

Soho based production and editing house 1410 are relocating to new premises, a move prompted by the need for a more production orientated office environment.
Currently they share a base, in d’Arblay Street, with Avid premier reseller Altered Images who are also relocating their central London Sales operation.
“We have been involved in an increasing amount of production based work” said 1410 Commercial Director David Chidgey. “We are expanding and in addition to accommodating our current projects which include programmes for the Corporate, educational and Broadcast Markets. We want to make sure we have enough room to take on some of the new projects we have in development.”
1410 was set up by Robin Clarkson and Mark Tuffnell in February 1999, primarily as a production outfit involved in all programme sectors. In conjunction with this, 1410 now provides post-production, editing and graphics, design, brand development, live event production and consultancy services to both the television and corporate markets".
Altered Images and 1410 have a close relationship and the move won’t affect the way Altered Images serve their Central London clients.
Sales and Marketing director David Johnson believes it will “make our whole operation much more flexible in the long run and will still accommodate our successful open days and demonstrations.”
Altered Images have been involved in some major international projects recently not least the 2002 World Cup where technical director Brian Cutts designed and oversaw the set up of Home Broadcasting Services’ (HBS) World Cup facilities in Korea/Japan.
The move is expected to be completed in the Autumn.
