Giggle Group Appoints Radio Boss As Head Of Business Development

News Image
Peter Rogers, former MD of Heart 102.4 Radio in Gloucester, has been appointed Head of Business Development at Giggle Group, the Twigworth-based animation and film production company.
Peter, who has ten years' experience in radio, has a number of national radio advertising awards under his belt and has been head man at Heart, formerly Severn Sound Radio, for nearly two years.
He said: "I've done pretty much everything I wanted to do in radio so it's really time to throw myself into something new.
"Giggle is such an exciting and creative company and is already working for some major global brands as well as key local businesses.
"But there is so much more scope for developing the business which is where my role comes in. I am really looking forward to getting to grips with it.
"We will be looking to develop Giggle's existing business, but we will also be moving into new territory including Transmedia projects, where a story is told via a number of media. With new technology for mobile phones and devices like the iPad becoming commonplace there is huge potential in this area."
Steve Garratt, MD of Google, said: "We are at an important crossroads for the company and Pete will help take us to the next level. There are so many exciting developments in this industry at the moment.
"The experience Pete honed in his years working in radio advertising will relate directly to bringing new business for Giggle.
"I think we are on the verge of a major new era in the company's development and it will almost certainly create some new jobs along the way."
