Prime Focus Appoints New COO

Global digital content services group Prime Focus Technologies has named Ganesh Sankaran as Chief Operating Officer.
Based in Bangalore and reporting to Prime Focus Technologies Founder, President and CEO Ramki Sankaranarayanan, Ganesh will oversee R&D, technology development and service delivery operations for all PFT's worldwide locations. He'll also help scale the operation, enhance product and service lines as well as build deeper relationships with clients.
As Co-Founder and Vice President, Ganesh has been behind a number of the company's most impressive achievements including the development of CLEAR, the world's first 'hybrid cloud' multi-platform content operations solution.
He was also involved in building CLEAR live which enables delivery of video on demand packages from live video feeds to web and mobile in seconds and minutes - the process used during IPL 2010 tournament.
Ramki Sankaranarayanan, PFT Founder, President and CEO, said: "Ganesh's leadership has shaped the CLEAR platform from the very start. Prime Focus Technologies will be exhibiting at IBC 2010 and demonstrating CLEAR, the world's first hybrid cloud based multi-platform content operations solution at its Stand C.36 in Hall 13.
