StageClix 'Pack' Digital Wireless System Launched

News Image
A manufacturer and distributor of professional audio products used in recording, project and broadcast studios have introduced the next product in the stageClix family.
MTR have launched the stageClix 'Pack', a belt-pack version of the innovative 'Jack' digital wireless system from Holland, setting a new benchmark in belt pack wireless systems and serving a wide range of performers and artists.

The pack continues to provide all the Unique Selling Points of the jack for which stageClix is already well known - like rechargeable NIMH batteries, receiver with a built
in charger, 15 hours playing time on one charge, no menus, no compander, a frequency response of 10Hz-20kHz ±3db, 24 bit digital converters, no audible latency (2.4 ms), twelve user selectable channels, encoded transmission, and unique triple-diversity, 3 frequency transmission in each of the 12 channels simultaneously.
And like the Jack, the Pack operates in the future-proof 2.4GHz band, legal throughout the EU and beyond, completely sidestepping the government frequency sell-off problem, so no licence is needed.

The Pack transmitter has two inputs: a 3.5mm high impedance jack for instruments,
and a 2.5mm jack with a very high quality pre-amp for microphones. With this combination, the Pack can offer wireless freedom to artists and performers who use active and passive guitars, basses and other string instruments, keyboards, all wind instrument mics, percussion, piano, and vocal, presentation and lecture mics.

Some guitarists and bassists want to have the traditional 'wired' sound, but for theatre, presentation and broadcast mic purposes a pure digital sound is more appropriate. The Pack transmitter includes cable capacitance circuitry - the correct location for such a feature, and so can deliver both. And you can switch between sounds just by pressing a button.
In addition, the Pack comes with a 3.5mm to 6.35mm converter cable for guitars and basses, two different belt clips and a Velcro cable strap, and a 100v-230v universal digital power supply with UK, European and US pin sets for the touring artist, all housed in a foam-lined carry case.

Heavy weight features, but with a transmitter weighing only 72 grammes, less than most mobile phones.

And to round it all off, three professional microphones are available as optional extras – QDE 0802, an earhook boom mic, QDE 0803 lavalier mic and QDE 0804 brass/wind/speaker cabinet clip-on mic, all back-electret condenser mics, powered by the transmitter.
