Matthews Unveils 40" Sliding Leg C-Stand 2-Pack

Matthews Studio Equipment has introduced the 40" Sliding Leg C-Stand 2-Pack, bundling two of its long-trusted C-Stands in a single box, with continental US shipping included.

On set, a second stand is frequently required for a light, diffusion, backdrop or fill. The new 2-Pack supplies both, offered in either chrome or black. Each stand incorporates Matthews’ patented sliding-leg mechanism for fast, tool-free levelling on stairs, kerbs and uneven terrain.

Each stand reaches a maximum height of 127"/321 cm, a minimum height of 53.25"/135 cm and supports up to 22 lb/10 kg, while weighing 16 lb/7.2 kg. The footprint measures 27.5"/70 cm, and the base folds to 21"/54 cm.

Every stand is supplied with a Matthews-only 40" Hollywood Arm (exclusive to C-Stand purchases), featuring a knurled baby pin with 1/4-20 tap and Matthews’ trademark safety features for attaching accessories or booming a fixture. It pairs with the included 2.5" grip head—also known as "gobo heads", whose serrated jaws and 3/8" and 5/8" holes deliver secure, set‑and‑forget locking in any direction.
